It remains special, my work. Every day I am glad that I once made the choice for the profession of plastic surgeon. It’s nice to make people happier and more confident by beautifying the contours of the face or body. Of course, this will only work if you work with the greatest care and apply your expertise in the right way. Going through this process with my client until the desired result is achieved makes my work incredibly fascinating and beautiful.

My team also shares this passion for the profession. Our mission is to give all clients a ‘total well-being’ feeling at Kazem Aesthetica. Personal attention is one of the most important things here. A treatment always starts with an intake interview. I want to know who you are, what your wishes are and what questions you have. By entering into a conversation together, trust grows. I am always honest; even if you have unrealistic expectations of a particular treatment. The best results are achieved by being open and honest with each other. I think it is important that there is a click between you and me. After all, you put the fate of your body in my hands!

Milestones

After studying Medicine at the University of Leiden, Dr. Kazem is in the Zuiderziekenhuis in Rotterdam in General Surgery and plastic surgery of burns. This was followed by a specialization in Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital in Groningen. During his career, Dr. Kazem as market leader and pioneer introduced various treatments in the Netherlands:

2021

Kazem Aesthetica participates in the ‘American Society of Plastic Surgeons’!

We are proud to announce that Dr. Kazem now serves on two major committees: Continuing Education Committee and Annual Meeting Educational Program Committee.
The committees’ main objectives are to improve the practice of plastic surgery by influencing health policy, research, quality issues, leadership and professional development, ethical behavior, and best practices for domestic and international service missions.

Kazem Aesthetica is the first in the Netherlands and in the world to introduce the CoolSculpting® Elite.

2011

Nefera

On November 14, 2011, Dr. Farid Kazem launched his first skincare line: the Nefera™ Skincare Collection.

2009

CoolSculpting® in the Benelux

The introduction of CoolSculpting® in the Benelux; a unique treatment in which fat cells are removed by freezing.
Dr. Kazem became Key Opinion Leader for Allergan, an international pharmaceutical company responsible for introducing the CoolSculpting® machine. He also became Key Opinion Leader for Solta Medical, another international pharmaceutical company responsible for inventing and introducing non-surgical skin treatments such as Fraxel® Laser, Clear + Brilliant® and Thermage®.

2005

Thermage®

Kazem Aesthetica was the first to introduce Thermage® in the Netherlands. Thermage® is a worldwide acclaimed non-invasive skin tightening treatment based on radiofrequency therapy.

1992

Anatomically Shaped Breast Implants Introduction

The groundbreaking introduction of anatomically shaped breast implants. This silicone implant with a teardrop-shaped appearance naturally mimics the contours of female breasts.

1992 1997

First pain-free technique for breast augmentation

The development of the first pain-free technique for breast augmentation using anatomically shaped breast implants. Clients can resume their daily lives the next day. Until this day, Dr. Kazem continues to train world-renowned plastic surgeons on how to apply his unique and painless breast implant technique.
